Lucas will be returning to the #00 this year in Late Model Stock and will be in the #21 car in the Hooter's ProCup for 2008.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <IMG SRC="14390050.jpg" border=0 width="400" height="5" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <bR> <div> <B>Lucas wins at Hickory Motor Speedway Bojangles Late Model Stocks.</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" > </FONT></div> <div> This  was one to remember for the Ransone Racing Team and its supporters. The day began with Lucas rolling off excellent practice times. He said he “couldn’t ask for a better car.” Both Lucas and the team were on their game, turning in times in the low 15’s. Lucas had some pretty stiff competition, with former champion, and North Carolina’s #1 ranked late model driver, Andy Loden, and track regular Ashley Huffman among others. Lucas had a decent qualifying run, and placed himself in 6th for the start right behind Loden. After only 10 laps, Lucas had gained 2 spots leaving him in 4th. It was clear that Lucas was getting the feel for his new Marlowe chassis and looking for a top finish. By lap 46, Lucas passes Loden, Huffman, and Grissom, and has the finish in his sights. This was the very first time that the team had been to this track, no prior testing for this race.
